A 26-year-old woman lost her life in a tragic accident on the Badagry Expressway involving a truck and a commercial motorcycle.
Punch Newspapers reported that the collision occurred recently. Benjamin Hundeyin, the public relations officer for the Lagos State Police, verified the event in Lagos on Monday.
The tragedy happened at Ojo, which is in the Ojo area of the state, at 1:00 p.m.
“A fatal accident occurred at Ojo Barracks main gate along Badagry Expressway involving a truck and a motorcycle,” the PPRO said.
This incident adds to a series of similar accidents on the Lagos-Badagry Expressway. In December 2023, a military officer, his wife, and a motorcycle rider died instantly at the Dantata bus stop along the expressway.
Additionally, in October 2024, a hit-and-run driver killed a motorcyclist at the Limca bus stop axis of the same expressway
