Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be a full-time student enrolled at a recognized African university and require financial assistance for conference travel.
- Should have a paper accepted at a prestigious computer science or related conference, preferably in a field of interest to Google.
- Must be the sole or joint first author of the accepted paper.
- Google employees and individuals from embargoed countries are ineligible.
Scholarship Benefits:
- Funding between $1,000 and $3,000 USD to cover conference registration, travel, accommodation, and related expenses.
- The scholarship amount depends on the conference’s location and associated costs.
Application Process:
- Applications are accepted year-round on a rolling basis.
- Applicants should apply well in advance of the conference, as the approval and payment process takes 5-8 weeks.
